BIOGRAPHY
Hortense’s mom taught her to knit, one summer when she was bored on the beach at age 10. From there her love (some would say obsession) of yarn was born and she never stopped stitching.
A few years ago she started to dig into the online world of yarn and discovered so many techniques, constructions and concepts she had never heard about before.
Slowly Hortense started to move away from following patterns. In 2018 she finally launched her blog Knitting with Chopsticks. This is where she shares her easy knitting & crochet patterns for women, home and kiddos.
Hortense’s goal is to break down knitting and crochet so they become simple enough for people to create exactly what they want. They can do this through her patterns, blog, membership in the Stitching Squad and hosting online summits.
